Kristin Davis has publicly apologized to Bridget Moynahan for how she behaved toward her on the set of Sex and the City, admitting she let her character’s perspective blur into real life. Speaking on her podcast Are You a Charlotte?, Davis explained that while she usually went out of her way to be friendly to guest stars, she failed to do so with Moynahan because her character, Natasha, was positioned as Carrie Bradshaw’s “nemesis.”
Davis acknowledged she wasn’t very kind at the time and later realized that was likely why others seemed distant toward Moynahan on set. Moynahan, who appeared on the podcast, laughed it off and reassured her there were no hard feelings. The two eventually reconnected years later after running into each other at the same gym, where Davis said she finally understood how deeply she had internalized Charlotte’s worldview and felt embarrassed by her earlier behavior. Moynahan played Natasha in Seasons 2 and 3 of Sex and the City and later reprised the role in And Just Like That…, marking a full-circle moment both on screen and off.
